I’m in love with all the colours and different thread weights from Aurifil. I mostly use the neutral colours for piecing. Recently, I’ve been using their variegated thread for quilting and I love how the thread adds extra interest to my projects. M.
I have an array of both neutrals and rainbow – for every use! I love threads – especially Aurifil
I guess I should read a little better lol, but I only have a handful of colors, I wish I had more though! It’s so much fun to quilt with color, but I tend to stick to the same colors so my thread colors don’t vary, I wish I had a rainbow to choose from!

That looks like the perfect collection of Aurifil neutrals. They are the colors that I generally use!

I love all colors of thread.
I love the yellow iron. I just purchased the small version and I love it. It is now a snowbird iron for 3 months in North Carolina. I imagine the large iron is fabulous.
I use Aurifil almost exclusively. The colors are fabulous as well as the neutrals, which I use for piecing.
I use neutral colors in most of my projects. Would love to try this thread.

I love lots of colors in thread but often use neutrals when piecing.
I use Aurifil thread for piecing and machine quilting. I usually use Dove because it blends with most colors.

I’ve started to use 60wt Aurifil in light grey for piecing. It helps to make my seams so flat—especially great for the 3” & 6” blocks in my Kathryn Kerr 365 Day Challenge quilt and the HST blob is in my FQS temperature quilt—2023 version.The 60wt will be my go-to thread.

Although my thread box is colorful, neutrals are my choice for piecing my quilts.

Definitely a girl of many colors! I have two double racks in color order…one for cotton and one for polyester. Oh and another for silks and specialty. Silly thing is I have started building out multiple neutrals – light medium and dark, so I can match a little closer to fabrics I am piecing. BUT my travel case is ALWAYS packed with only neutrals – I add colors only if I know I’ll be working on a special project that needs them while I am away.
I use neutrals for piecing but I love to use colors for quilting. I haven’t quilted any large projects yet, just small ones. I’m hoping to quilt one of my throw-sized flimsies soon.
I use Neutrals mostly. I have never tried Aurifil but I have heard it’s wonderful.

I use neutrals the most, but find I use colors a lot for bindings, applique, etc. I seem to go through a lot of thread when I do my own quilting! 🙂
I use only Aurifil. I typically use the whites for piecing. I am enjoying using colors and neutrals for machine quilting.

I like to use neutrals for piecing and colour match for raw edge applique. I have not used Aurifil thread before as it is very expensive to purchase in Australia. Thank you for all that you share with us.

I do LOVE thread colors, but I don’t have very many yet. I just got a really nice machine, so I’m starting to gather spool of Aurifil because it is such lovely thread.
Aurifil is my go to thread. Love, love, love them!
