I love almost every type of fabric. I have a jelly roll of Promise Me that I need to make something with. One of the quilts from Fat Quarter Shop’s new jelly roll book will probably be used.

Wearing my 10th anniversary long sleeve shirt I ordered. Very Comfy. I have been watching daily since summer of 2022. Love all of your shows.
What is my favorite fabric other than the Drawing Room – which I really love. It depends on the project that I am going to be working on. Currently I am looking at fabric that would reflect the 1840/50’s. I found an article where my 3rd great grandmother made a quilt that went over the Oregon Trail and I would like to replicate it.
Is this the spot I enter for the layer cake? If not it’s all good Congrats on 10 years , Pat been watching you for a long time.

Congratulations on 10 years!! I like all colors of threads. Truth be known…I usually use a neutral for piecing and I match the thread to the binding.
Congratulations on your 10th year anniversary. How exciting! My last project was a rag type quilt for my father in law. He is 96 years old soon to turn 97 next month. Would love to be able to win a large Oliso Iron. I hope this is the correct comment section. It was the only one I could locate.

The last quilt that I made was Autumn Wonders. I used art Art Gallery fabric, and it had lots of mushrooms!
I really do need a new iron, as the iron I am using is from the 1960s! I hope that you pick me, because I could really use the big iron or the little iron. I’m looking forward to winning an Oliso iron!

I haven’t done any of Pat’s Sew-Alongs, but I’ve been very tempted by Oh My Stars and The Secret Lives of Color quilt. I have cut squares for a blue and white Oh My Stars. I am focusing on finishing UFOs.
I’ve always wanted to try an Oliso iron, but I haven’t done that either.

We use lots of thread colors here at my house as we make lap quilts for cancer patients. However mostly off white for piecing.

Congratulations on your ten anniversary! I just recently purchased some Aurifil thread recently. What a difference quality thread makes for sewing. My sewing machine loves it too. I like using neutral Aurifil 50 weight thread for piecing quilt fabric. There are many Aurifil threads and colors to pick from.
Congratulations, new to quilting and love the new techniques, how to, seeing the wonderful projects and really love that you make quilting fun. It should be fun and you are the example I enjoy seeing and giving my self the permission to have fun quilting and sewing.

Thread: I do change colors for piecing, but usually have an off white or gray. When quilting it could be any color depending on the quilt.
my last two projects were the quilt along blue birds then last spring the Irish chain done in bright green and yellow…such happy colors. Congratulations on 10 years. I am putting the mini iron on my birthday wish list.

I JUST finished Childhood Memories Sew Along. I used a wide variety of materials from my “stash” and was questioning my decision throughout. Upon completion, I LOVE it! Thanks Pat.
