**Summer Soiree… Mystery Sew Along Details***
If you are just joining me, hi friend! This sew along theme is inspired a 'Summer Soiree'.
soi·rĂ©e /swĂ€ËrÄ/
"The definition of a soirée is a gathering or get-together, especially a posh or elegant one. A soiree is an elegant and intimate affair. It is an evening party held in a private house. While ambient music plays, guests engage in a variety of private conversation."

***How do I get notified? ***
- Sign up to get notices of my videos https://www.youtube.com/user/PatSloan?sub_confirmation=1
- ENTER YOUR EMAIL to get the weekly notice NOTE – If you already Receive the Block Wed emails you are set.
- Can I use fabric that is not a FQ? Sure! this is meant to use up what you have with a bit added.
- Can I use Stash (fabric I own) - Yes! Pull out a bundle of beautiful fabric
- Will I use all the fabric - Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!
- What are the Technique? - All Easy Pieced.
- NOTE: The Blocks do NOT LOOK like the topic of the week. This is not a pictorial quilt. I do a topic as it is way more fun than just plopping out a block. I love the memories and sometimes research that goes into the topic. That keeps my Sew alongs fun and unique.
***Fabric I'm using***
I'm using the Figs & Shirtings fat quarter bundle + background fabric from my friend Joanna. You will have some left over. I am so excited about using this fabric! I love that splash of black!
You do not have to use the same fabric as me. You can use any fabric you like
- Figs & Shirtings fabric, pick up your favorite for backing! - https://shrsl.com/2ymo4

I'm also using this book as we go along for tips and ideas!

Nice posts thanks fethiye psikolog
So funny. The Baltimore accent is hard for me to replicate, but my husband and kids grew up there so I had to adapt. Now living in WV and no one understands worter when my husband asks for water. Itâs the British influence.
Thatâs not a slam at Baltimorese as I smile listening to sister n law & friends with their added ârâsâ & expressions
I found the block 8 video on youtube as I didn’t see a link on this page either.
Go to the page ilovetomakequilts. SoirĂ©e should so up at Beginning of page.. scroll down and youâll find all numbered blocks .. this is a link to getting those blocks.. itâs not blocks people posted.. itâs Pats links.
I don’t see the link for your video today đ Hopefully I’ll catch up later.
I was so happy that Reese included a page on Southern pronunciations. I come from Western Maryland but by school time the family had moved closer to Baltimore. I was placed in a speech class in 1st & 2nd grade to learn pronunciation until I rebelled. I showed my husband that Reese has cainât for canât & I say dent for didnât so he always asks where the dent is. Plus I git tarred, shore doo. But at
least Iâm not from Bawlmere & warsh my har in warter. đ
Iam so frustrated with SOIREE pattern I would Love to scream but I’d scare everyone to death. I have been watching you for over a year. I didn,t have time before to make anything and when this SOIREE came up I could do it. I was so excited and when you said what fabric you were going to use I ordered right then! and it was so hard to wait.I am having a difficult time trying to get the instructons. I do know they are on the black and white page with the size of the blocks for cutting are. so far Ihave found number 1,3,and 8 and for the life of me I cannot find the others. I have spent 2 to 3 hours looking for them. The layout for the 57″X74″ quilt does not help me at all. I’m trying to teach myself to quilt again. It’S been quite a while since I made anything. I hate not to finish it.
I’m Scandinavian and “uff Da” is a common comment! It’s a term used when you just can’t believe what just happened or swear word.
