** CUTTING TIP **
Look around to cut the square with the least amount of waste.
- On the left, this is the bottom of the piece and I had quilt a bit of wasted on the bottom
- So at the top of the piece I did not have as much waste, so I cut from there.
- Often you do waste some fabric to get a specific image, but it's worth it!

I only got started at #3 so I am missing 1 & 2 can you email them to me Please Thank you
I lived year round on a lake. We spent most of our time swimming in the summer. I had a great childhood.
I remember playing Marco Polo with our kids in motel swimming pools when we were vacationing. Sometimes the motel pools and motel cable TV with kids’ shows were more of a hit than the traveling.
I like the Marco Polo block and the fussy cut horses.
Swimming was my favorite as a kid. We lived near the beach (Pacific Ocean – which is COLD) and my Mom would drag me out after a couple of hours – my lips would be blue from the cold and my teeth would be chattering — and I would be pleading that I was fine! I still love to swim, but I like warm water now!
great memories!
it is SO easy to get an ear worm from that one!
Very clever block! And yes “Marco Polo” is stuck in my head( but brings back happy memories so it is ok!)
I loved swimming as a kid! Going to the city pool every summer was what everyone did in my small town. When I was in high school and into a couple of years of college I would lifeguard. That was fun, too!
