*** The Giving Tree at the Virginia Quilt Museum ***

Gregg and I honored his mom, Madge Sloan, by buying an ornament for the Giving tree in her name at the Virginia quilt Museum

DETAILS:

***The Giving Tree! ***

The Virginia Quilt Museum has a unique program that lets you honor a quilter in your life. The Virginia Quilt Museum’s Silver Giving Tree has been created to honor our quilting heritage and in appreciation for all the people who have supported the museum during the first 25 years.

 

All proceeds go into our General Fund to support the institution so that the museum can ensure that Virginia’s quilting heritage is preserved for generations to follow.

 

Donations can be made to honor the people who taught us to sew and quilt, in honor of family members who are passionate about this art form, and from quilters all across the area. We ask that a minimum donation be made, one dollar for each of the 25 years the museum has been active. Your honoree’s name will be written on an ornament and placed on our Silver Giving Tree.

All donations up to $2,500 will be matched!
