  1. MY favorite part about using a planner is it frees up my brain. I don’t have to remember everything if it’s on paper, the planner is doing my remembering. Love the feeling of crossing off the “job” when I have completed it!

  2. Hi! My absolutely favorite part of having a pretty, adorable planner is the Joy felt upon opening it and reflecting on project accomplishment and reminding myself of the love still needing to be shared with those in need. Looking forward and keeping track of new and ongoing projects helps me to be better organized and much more productive!

  3. I like using a planner because it helps organize both my work life and my quilting life all in one place!

  4. I love planners, they keep me centered and organized. It’s fun to write things down and cross them off when completed and therefore I won’t forget anything. I also use them as motivation to write down my thoughts and ideas. I like looking back through the year to see what I was doing and what project I was working on & just how I was feeling at the time. Offering a Lori Holt planner is just icing on the cake for me.

  5. I love planners!! I have used planners for about 30 years. They have kept my work life, family life and husband in the military life organized. Retirement now has the planner giving me housekeeping areas each day, each week. Dinner meals, shopping lists, activities for the grandchildren. Did I say I love a good planner? It is usually with me at all times!!.

  6. I don’t currently use a planner. I’ve not been able to find one that I can use & continue to use but this one maybe the one to solve my problems. I’d love to be the winner of it.

  7. I need a planner since my husband and I are retiring. Keeping up with doctors appts and other daily plans is a challenge. This planner looks like just what I need!!

  8. I have never used a planner for my quilting projects and I have learned so much on how to manage my time from your videos I look forward to giving one a try. Thank you for all that you do!

  9. My favorite part of using a planner is keeping myself organized. I don’t like to forget appointments and I don’t like to be over committed. An actual planner helps me avoid both.

  10. I can keep everything in one place. Not only my projects but my current purchases, list of fabric colors and thread needed. Along with my prayer list, notes from bible class and Sunday school. I also keep names and phone numbers of new people I meet.

  11. I love planners, especially pink ones. They bring together all the areas of my life in a central place where I can recognize the areas that need improvement. There is a sense of accomplishment when I can check off the things I have completed and satisfaction at coming closer to achieving my goals. Love watching you every day when you’re on youtube.

  12. My favorite part about using a planner is getting to write in it all of the things I need to do and getting to cross things off my list.

  13. I love planners to keep me organized. I often brain dump on small pieces of paper, but the get lost. Having one place to keep my ideas and plans wold be helpful. I used to use planners until I had kids. I need to get back to using a planner again.

  14. My favorite part about a planner is it keeps me on task and it is somewhat like a journal. It’s fun to read what you did or thought the month before.

  15. I love to look back on my planner to see how much I’ve accomplished! It makes me realize that I get more done than I think!

  16. I am so easily distracted by all the beautiful fabric and potential projects that a planner helps me stay focused. It allows me to finish my list and then I can move in to some new fabrics and patterns. With your advise about making a list this summer I have almost completed all my UFO’s!

  17. I love planners so I can see my goal for the week, and all my appointments I need to work around. The best part is checking off all the things I accomplish!

  18. My favorite part of a planner is seeing all the projects I have coming up and being able to scratch them off as they are finished. It keeps me organized.

  19. The best part of using a planner is it helps keep me motivated. I can see all of my WIPs, so it makes it easy to choose something else for a break from my current project rather than a nonsewing break which often leads to me getting stuck.

  20. My favorite part about using a planner: It gives me (and my family) a running history of my life (which can come in handy when one of them asks, β€œWhen did we pay that bill?” or β€œWhen did we last visit Aunt Mabel?” πŸ˜‚

  21. A planner keeps me organized….I have to include my husband’s Dr. appt. so i know what to do each day and am also able to plan ahead….I love planners!

  22. I’ve never used a quilting planner, but I would like to try and use one. I still use a monthly planner in my purse to keep up with important dates. My favorite part of using a quilting planner I would think would be that I might accomplish more if I were more organized.

  23. I use a planner to keep me organized and on track, so I don’t forget what’s coming up and to be able to look back at what I’ve accomplished.
    Bea

  24. The circle of life is keeping me busy. The planner would help me plan in my much needed crafty time.

  25. I’ve never used a planner book for daily work or projects. It’s my calendar that has notes & I look at it to see daily plans & what’s coming up. Maybe it’s because I think of a planner as work since they were used there & now that I’m retired I don’t want my life planner out so much. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜†

  26. I have always used a planner/calendar for 20 or more years. It helps with planning things for weeks ahead and it’s much better than using a calendar on your phone – this isn’t as dependable at a hard copy like a planner. Thanks for the giveaway!

  27. A planner gives me some direction for choosing a pattern, purchasing the right fabrics, and realizing a realistic time frame to complete the project. It is also great for recording fabric information in case you need to order more.

  28. Having a project planner helps to document projects I am working on along with future projects . It helps me have a plan and a time line and tends to keep me calmer and not overwhelmed . It reminds me of what I told my youngest when she had many project deadlines in college . She was a photography major . I told her to write down all of the projects that needed to be completed with her deadline dates . As she completed the project , she could cross it out or put a special picture or even a fun sticker by that line to signify its completion . It worked and her anxiety went way down . I think it does the same for me . Rather then thinking about all of the things I am working on and need or want to accomplish , I form a plan and since it is written down it helps keep me on track ! Anxiety is way down and I do not avoid the sewing room because I know what the plan is .

  29. I love using planners because it helps me keep my projects and my life straight. I’m a very orderly type of person, so having everything at a glance really helps keep me on track. I also like to look back over the past years to see all the things I’ve accomplished it’s a terrific motivator!

  30. Using a planner is helpful for keeping track of fabrics, measurements, and staying organized and keeping track of where I’m at in a project.

  31. I think the best part of using a planner is being able to look back and what you have done and when (paying bills, going on dates, things done on vacation, etc)

  32. I am planning challenged and keep too much in my brain. I need to write it down so I know what I had planned for a project to keep me better on track.

  33. Planners show accomplishments but also looks forward to what you envisioned the year to be. It’s a time capsule of that period in your life!

  34. I love to mark things off a list. I also use a planner to capture daily affirmations to remind myself about accomplishments and blessings.

  35. I was knee deep in planners when we homeschooled our 9 amazing littles…. now all grown, maybe Mamma needs her own pink one!! πŸ™‚ Certainly the best part of a planner is having some direction. How can I schedule my time and events without some planning! It is great to get a head start on our quilting schedule with your calendars Pat. Thank you for the inspiration πŸ™‚

  36. My fav part of using a planner is keeping track of bill pay, grandkid events to attend, outings etc. I like to use the old fashioned way of handwriting into my yearly planner as opposed to keeping in phone. All the best!

  37. For me a planner is super helpful as I can decide priorities, see progress and look back to see what I did before. Love them. Since I am retired, I can fill it with fun stuff not work stuff !!! BONUS>

  38. My favorite part of using a planner is staying better organized …. and a cute one makes it happier….

  39. There’s nothing like having a central location to record family events, thoughts and
projects you want to achieve. I really like a planner that is well organized,
and is lovely to look which helps me stay focused, motivated and HAPPY!🐝

  40. I was used to using a planner at work. Now that I’m retired, I find a planner useful for my sewing projects. It keeps me from forgetting what I decided to make. Sometimes those projects get “lost” or forgotten about when I buy new ones or decide to join a sewalong or two or three:).

  41. I love planners, it helped so much when memory is so bad from epilepsy, so I write everything down , to see it, I can remember better, really helps my mind. And I love pink

  42. Hi Pat, I have been making quilts for many years and I never used a planner until last year. I bought a planner from Wal-Mart and love using it. I keep track of all my QAL’s and finished quilts. Wish I would have done this sooner. I would love to have one specifically for quilting like Lori Holts, but it’s not in my budget. It would be so wonderful to win your giveaway. Dreaming!😍

  43. My favorite part of using a planner is how it gives me the confidence to feel organized and on top of things! I also love using colored pens to make things beautiful so it like art/coloring for stress relief! Thanks for the opportunity! β™₯

  44. I love using a planner because it helps me see what I need to do and what I have accomploshed. Makes me feel very good!

  45. I have never used a planner but just this week decided it would be a good idea mainly to keep each project organized, and make notes on what has been done at each sewing sitting. Especially to keep track of thread type, seam allowance settings etc. I change machines often enough I NEED TO KEEP TRACK of where I’m at.
