  1. My favorite thing about using planners is it keeps me organized and gets things off my brain and written down. Then I have everything I need in one spot. Thank you!

  2. My favorite part of using a planner is staying organized, and taking notes – it’s great when I can check off the items done !

  3. I love planners! My favorite thing is just being able to keep everything together in one place. I have a neurological condition that affects my memory so planners are a HUGE help.

  4. I started using planners a few years ago. I like how it helps me to set goals and lets me look back upon my accomplishments (or undone stuff!) I just started looking for a next years planner, so I hope I win!!

  5. This planner looks super as it includes appointments, lists, health goals and of course quilting notes and projects! What a great way to insure using it instead of hit and miss entries! Thank you for all the special quilting help you always provide! 💕

  6. I get so busy I need to keep track of daily things. And a planner like this would help me keep track of WIPS, FOs, and when I have plans for new ideas.

  7. I like to use a planner to keep everything that is going on organized. I not only write appointments, but also log family events, quilts I have finished, etc. The planner also serves as a diary of sorts as I keep them year after year.

  8. Keeping track of all my projects that I have on hand. I have projects in several rooms so sometimes I forget what I have. Silly me!!!!!!

  9. My favorite part of using a planner is planning out what has to be completed by a certain date. I’m making quilts for family for Christmas – you have to plan these things out or you’ll be crazy in December trying to finish!!! Plus I can keep up with all my doctor appointments, family/ friends birthdays/anniversaries. I also keep up when certain payments are due.

  10. I like being able to use the monthly calendar to see at a glance what i have going on for the month. I like planners to track my progress for the year.

  11. Even though I am now retired I have taken on the care of grandchildren who have moved in with me. There are so many school things going on it keeps me organized and I can look at it to know where I’m at in my quilting process and what I need that day.

  12. I have never used a planner. So my favorite part of using a planner might be: organization! I need help getting my projects listed all in one place. Now they are all listed on little pieces of paper that end up on the floor or worse yet, lost. Patterns and fabric get separated and then I can’t remember what pattern I bought fabric to make. I think a planner might help me finish projects since they are listed where I can see them often. Thanks Pat for all you do to promote and help quilters all over the world! You are awesome and so is FQS!

  13. My favorite part of using a planner is I can see what fabric I have already purchased, and my progress,
    for a specific quilt.
It seems like I have a lot of quilts on my Bucket List (and I continue to add!!), so when I am in a quilt store
I am able to see which ones still need fabric.

  14. I use a planner for my daily chore list and drs appts etc. I keep journal for what I do daily for sewing.
I think this planner would be good instead of the journal.

  15. I use a planner for my daily chore list and drs appts etc. I keep journal for what I do daily for sewing.
I think this planner would be good instead of the journal.

  16. I think using a planner for my quilting would help me keep track of my progress, when I start a project, when I finish, my total costs as every now and then I sell a quilt or two to help with my hobby expenses. I think it would also be great to keep track of my pattern, and any ideas I had to possibly make another one

  17. I love a planner to list what I need to get done on my UFOs, what I need to buy to finish, such as backings and batting. I also mark for upcoming sew alongs and what I need to get for them, either from my stash or buy. I also keep track of when my church charity sewing meets and what I need yo take.

  18. I am a busy writer, wife, caregiver and grandmother and without a planner I would just be running in circles every day. A planner helps keep me sane and organized

  19. I loved watching how Lori Holt uses her planner…cute sewing stickers also. If I win one I would use it, in conjunction with the daily agenda, for writing down ideas when I see them. As for instance, if I like the Oh My Stars Quilt pattern from your page, I can write the name and where I found it for future reference.
Thank you for the opportunity to win, would be excellent for my budget for quilt supplies!! I love your videos and an item on my bucket list is to go a quilting cruise with you teaching.

  20. I love paper planners. I’m 43 and have used one every year since starting grade school. I can keep track of every detail of my personal life, plus I can add in projects and craft details. I put in bits and pieces of projects and carry it with me wherever I go, so if I happen to run to a store and realize I need something for, say, a quilting project… I have i with me and I can match. Or I know if I already bought the fabric I am in love with and am about to buy 4 yards of 🙂 I will never understand people who use digital planners (well, for anything other than family activity planning)!

  21. I had no idea how helpful a planner could be until a few years ago. I received one as a Christmas gift and have been hooked on using one ever since. I don’t know how I managed before!

  22. My favorite part of using a planner is that you can dump your ideas in there and they are more likely to get done. It also gives me structure to my day without having to flail around from project to project.

  23. My favorite part of using a planner is looking back at the end of the year and seeing all that I’ve accomplished in twelve months.

  24. My favorite part of using a planner is having tangible pages. There’s just something about turning actual pages I have filled in that I find very satisfying.

  25. My favorite part of a planner is to track my UFO’s. While I may not see progress during the month, when I go back over the past year, I see that I completed stuff. I always think I am going to finish more than I do. I guess that is life for ME.

  26. I can’t imagine keeping track of my life without a planner. I use paper planners and electronic planners both to keep me straight. Funny, I need a planner more now that I’m retired than I did when I worked!

  27. Planners have always been a part of my life. They help keep me focused, meet deadlines, keep motivated in retirement life, and just keep me from forgetting things now! LOL! Couldn’t live without one!
Thanks, Pat for your daily videos. I know they take up a lot of time and I so appreciate the gift you give us of your time!

  28. I love to set goals and challenge myself to see how many I can accomplish. I also like the look back sometimes and see exactly when I finished certain projects.

  29. I like using a planner to carryover my WIPs from month to month so I don’t lose track of them in my sewing space.

  30. Planners are awesome! I couldn’t have survived 32 years in education without one.Pretty planners put a smile on your face even before you begin each day.

  31. My favorite part about using a planner is that I can visually see what I “should” be working on each week. Sometimes I get off-track, and forget things. A planner keeps me on-track. Would love to win this one!

  32. I love seeing sewalong projects and using stickers in my planner. It’s fun to look back at things I have done in the past!

  33. My use of a planner is, as everyone else says, to keep me organized! and to REMIND me of what I NEED to do, or what I want WANT to do each day. I loose track easily. Just saying.
It is too easy for me to forget what fabric I want for the pattern I have bought and collected. Thanks again, Pat, for an informative and upbeat video.😊

  34. i love feeling organized. Whether or not it gets done…. it’s in there… I can refer back to it as long as I want. thanks for everything Pat.

  35. Hey Pat. I love to use a planner because I like to look at my day all at once and not have to scroll up and down through the times. I’m also old school 😁😁. Just like the feel of a planner ❤️

  36. My favorite part of using a planner is keeping track of all the things going on in my life. And the planner is my favorite color PINK……

  37. Love any kind of calendar or planner- this one is so well made, just love it. I think what I most enjoy about this planner is it fits well in my tote bag and it is really easy to use.

  38. I love using a planner to keep track of my works in progress and when I finish them, I can celebrate those little victories!
