  1. I would use for all my appointments for a breast mass. Also for my quilting projects to step by step get them completed.

  2. I use a planner every year, not just for my quilts, but for my appts, and birthdays and anniversary and general important dates. Love the sticker idea.

  3. The best part I love about planners is keeping organized with my to do list on daily events and/or projects. I put my Joann coupons in my planner and hop into the car and drool over the lucious fabrics. So without a planner I can’t keep my life together!

  4. I actually have never used a planner for quilting projects but that is one of my goals I have set for myself. Plus keeping up with what I make and gift for who. I need to get more organized!

  5. I haven’t used a planner in years. I really feel I need to get back into it, beck it would help me be more organized on getting things done.

  6. I like using a planner to stay organized but what has been most beneficial is that it is a handy place to jot down milestones or memories. So much fun to look back and see what happened that month or year.

  7. My favourite part of using a planner is so you can keep track of everything you do, what’s coming up and what you have done. I have been using the project completion sheets and I also have a quilting journal but that’s only for quilting.

  8. Planners help keep you organized but also are part of the creative process! It helps you focus instead of “squirrel!” 😂😂😂Thank you for the opportunity.

  9. I’ve never used a planner but reading the other comments it is something I should really start using. This pretty pink one sounds like the perfect one to have.

  10. I like using a planner because it keeps me organized. I have all my projects put in my planner and what fabric I need or have bought. I like to keep track of my progress and the quilt a longs I am doing. When I order fabric for sew a longs sometimes pieces of the fabric are not in stock at that moment so I can remind myself to check back to fat quarter shop to see if it’s in stock.

  11. When I use a planner I find that I complete more of my tasks. I carry over things that I want to get done and prioritize those things each day. I have not used one since I retired, but am thinking that now may be the time to start this for my projects.

  12. My favorite part of having a planner is having a list of things to do. It keeps me organized and I don’t forget anything.

  13. Y favorite use is keeping track of what I plan to do that day, as well as other things that happened that day. I also track my daily Bible study and what I learned.

  14. My favorite use of my planner is keeping track of what I had planned for that day; as well as what actually occurred that day. I keep track of my daily Bible study and what I learned from that day.

  15. My favorite thing about using a planner is looking back to see what I’ve accomplished during a month or an entire year.

  16. So many thoughts and ideas running through my mind. I couldn’t make it without a planner to write it all down! It would be so nice to win!

  17. I don’t know what my favorite part is because I have have kept a planner, but now that I’m retired and quilting more it might be a good idea.

  18. I’ve never used a planner, but would love to start using them. I need a better way to track my projects and where I’m at with them. It would be a great way to keep track of all my blocks of the month I’m doing and when they arrive each month. Also which quilt tops are being long armed.

  19. My favorite part of using a planner is I can keep track of all my projects. I forget things have you ever put your keys in the refrigerator the freezer part and can’t remember where they are oh wait you need some ice open the freezer part and instead of getting ice you get your keys. So, yea!!!! I use a planner for everything.

  20. Love the color of this planner. I would be great to plan my sewing adventures for the year and my appointments. Thank you for the giveaway.

  21. A planner keeps more of my projects in mind when I keep finding new fabrics and other projects I want to make! I also don’t have as many “lost or forgotten” projects. It helps me be more organized like you are when you are multi-projecting monthly, weekly and daily! When looking for lost fabric I knew I had one day I found a lot of projects I had forgot about! Thanks for all your hard work on filming for us!

  22. My favorite part of using a planner is that it helps me stay organized and not clutter up my mind with all the things I need to remember to do. I have used a planner since 1989, while working for BASF as a chemist. The to do list were complex, and I would have never been able to keep it all straight without them. I would love to have a pink planner, since pink has become a thing for me. I am finally getting in touch with the more girlie side of myself now that I am retired and a nana to 3 precious little girls. We all love pink over here.

  23. My favorite part of using a planner is organizing my year by planning my days, weeks and months. I plan my weekly meals, my projects whether they are quilting, cross-stitching or gardening. I like to keep track of my rulers, books, seeds and fabric collections that will be coming out that I am interested in purchasing. It’s my life’s journal in many ways.

  24. Using a planner helps me to see where I am going and what I have accomplished. It helps me to stay organized and productive…or at least those would all be my goals !;)

  25. My favourite part of using a planner is I can see things I need to do for myself and also appointments for my mum and I can be more organised in finding time to do the things I love

  26. what i use my planner for is to keep up with my sew alongs, projects and also the many Doctor’s Appointments that my 2 out of 3 Triplet special needs 15 year old Boys Have to go to each month along with any perscription refill days. I have a Whole lot on my plate to keep up with(one of the boys is fully disabled- hands on & twin brother has CP with walking diifficulty). but all are doing great and to pass the rest of my time i SEW AS Much As i Possibly can to destress. thank you pat foir your wonderfull sew alongs!

  27. My favorite part about using a planner is the doodle space around the calendar where I set goals for myself, make lists and note important upcoming dates.

  28. I HAVE NEVER USED A PLANNER BUT FEEL THAT IT WOULD PROBABLY HELP IN KEEING TRACK OF MY QUILTS. i HAVE A PROBLEM KEEPING UP WITH WHAT I DO AND DON’T DO TO MOVE ME FORWARD.

  29. My favorite part about having a planner is that it keeps me on track with my sewing/quilting projects, birthdays/anniversaries, meetings/appointments and able to do step by step on projects from beginning to end.

  30. My favorite part of using a planner is ability to see my plans & events for all months easily . Also ability to erase!

  31. Hi Pat. I use planners to keep all of my creative ideas and my progress in one place. I can also record new ideas such as patterns, fabric collections or web sites that I want to check out and that information isn’t lost in my mess. It also seems to help me stay motivated and on track with completing my projects. If I find that I am behind with my schedule, I try to add a bit more time to catch up and stay on track.

  32. I have been using planners for years. I love seeing all I attended in my personal life as well as what is ahead to attend and accomplish. I use a red pen to check off a job well done. Lol

  33. I use a planner and my husband has learned to check it before making any of his appointments! There have been times when I did not consult my planner, and found out I had 2 appointments for the same time! Could be hair cut and a doctor at the same time. Which to cancel? Well, if I’m not really sick, I keep the hair cut appointment! I also keep track of our grandson’s college football games. Some are home, some away, so we know when to make hotel reservations for the away games. Who doesn’t like a weekend away from home?

  34. I use your project sheets and am thinking a planner would help me stay more organized throughout the year with my quilting projects.

  35. My favorite part of using a planner is to stay organized. If I had a cute, pink Lori Holt planner, I may actually use it on a daily basis! I’d sure like to give it a try!!

  36. I love using a planner to keep track of my quilt projects. Helps me with special notes I want to remember about them, new tips I learned and so forth.

  37. The thing I love about planners is the history they record of projects in progress, completed or planned. A walk through a years worth of our life to refresh our fading memories.

  38. As a long time project manager, I relied heavily on planning and now in my quilting I see the importance even more. If I use better planning I wouldn’t have a stack of unfinished projects.

  39. I “Need” a planner so I don’t forget anything I have to do (although I occasionaly forget to consult the planner…)! The Lori Holt planner is adorable and I love your idea of using stickers and journaling in it.

  40. My favorite part about using a planner is that my memory is really bad and so not only do I know what’s coming up or going on, but I can look back and remember what happened. Thank you Pat for all you do.
