  1. There’s something about handwritten and visual words that just helps my brain stay on track. It’s also so useful to be able to look back at things that have happened and when they actually occurred, rather than rely on my memory which isn’t as accurate as it used to be!

  2. My favorite part of using a planner is to check back for timelines… time wasted, productive time and finding things that interfere with joy on there.

  3. I’m a list maker so a planner is the perfect place for me to keep them. It keeps me motivated to get going on my day if I have things written down and to keep going as I check off the things accomplished. And of course–this one is PINK!

  4. I love using a planner to keep my projects organized and Lori Holts’ planners are super cute!🥰 So it’s all the more fun to fill in the info on projects and up coming important events😊

  5. My favorite part of using a planner is that it helps me stay on track with all my projects. I also use it like a journal to record what I spent my day doing., even if it’s not quilting 100% of the time.😊

  6. i have been using my own style of planner for years. I love to keep track of all that i have accomplished every day and/or why i did not get to quilting on a certain day. Would love to have a formal style planner.

  7. Right now I use our WAll Calendar as a planner; everything from appt to daily tasks are jotted down to check off. A planner would be easy to few all the months ahead.

  8. Never really used a planner, I keep track with my phone for sew days or appointments. But having a planner to write notes or to try and remember things I accomplished, (or not) would be so much easier, then using my phone, can’t keep track of all that with the phone and I might be able to remember things better! Thanks Pat for the chance to win!

  9. I write everything in a planner; the usual upcoming dates, events and appointments along with holidays, etc, but I have lists, resources, gifts I plan to make, what I worked on that day, what I want to work on. It keeps me on track. It shows me how much I actually accomplish and where I need to approve

  10. My favorite part of using a planner is to keep me on track. I’m bad about starting one thing before I have finished the last. It is helpful to be organized so you remember exactly where you left off on a pattern.

  11. I love using a planner so I can look back and see what I’ve worked on or finished. My goal is to finish up some projects that have been sitting for a long time, but I can’t resist new beginnings!

  12. My favorite part of using a planner is it keeps me on task, accountable and I can track progress. I love looking back at the end of the year of all my accomplishments

  13. My favorite thing about using a planner is to keep myself ORGANIZED! I need an overall plan then I need steps to achieve that plan ( material, thread, fat quarters, patterns, speciality rulers, etc).

  14. I love a planner to keep track of all upcoming projects and appointments. A plan for what I want to accomplish each day. I also like it as a reference to look back on when I had completed a project in the past. I also include Birthdays because I like to send homemade birthday cards to family and friends.

  15. My favorite part of using a planner is being able to see a whole month at a time. I can block off the times for the necessary things I have to do & then I can see the days & times that are free for sewing. And I can do that with just a look at an entire month at a time.

  16. I used to use a planner at work but haven’t tried it with quilting. Maybe I should try one. 🤔

  17. I need to set sewing goals for each month and I have to keep a planner because I will procrastinate! I’m trying to donate a baby quilt every month and I have to discipline myself.😘

  18. My favorite part of using a planner is that it keeps me organized. It’s like having a paper version of my brain.

  19. My favorite part of using a planner is being able to keep track of birthdays, grandbaby babysitting gigs and less fun things like doctor’s appointments.

  20. My favorite thing about a planner is that it helps keep me on track with what I have worked on during the month and what I want to accomplish.

  21. My favorite of a planner is being able to do long range planning. What projects I would do at a future date and still of things I’m working on now.

  22. There are so many things going on in our lives. Some with deadlines, some not. It’s nice to have a feeling of having a grasp on organization somewhere! I also work on other crafting projects besides sewing and quilting. Some of these projects are for craft fairs. A planner helps keep me on track with dates and ideas.

  23. Thanks Pat for all of your tips, tricks and laughs! My favorite part of a planner is organizing my quilt plans and then looking back at wgat I accomplished or not. Thanks again !

  24. Thanks Pat for all of your tips and tricks! My favorite part of a planner is jotting down my quilt plans then getting to look back at what I accomplished or not.

  25. Using a planner reduces the chaos in my mind! So many projects and beautiful fabrics to distract me these days! Help, I need a planner!

  26. I have never used a planner before. I am finding out at my age I am now in need of one. It has become harder to keep track of all my projects and forget which ones are needing to be finished by a certain date.

  27. My favorite part of using a planner is remembering to use it! I always write everything on my calendar.

  28. I have a planner and I’m working on my UFO’s and it keeps me on track. For me the only way to get all my UFO’s done is to plan it out and work then one at a time. We all need to have a a planner.

  29. The Planner would be great to have as I need to be more organized than I am at the moment. I need to be able to see what I have accomplished and then what I have planned to do so that I can keep on track and be motivated to keep moving ahead. I think the pink colour of this planner is so lovely.

  30. Instead of feeling as though I have accomplished a great deal in some amount of time I can count how much I have actually accomplished. Plus I can see if there is a project I have misplaced and requires time to complete.

  31. This year I am using my first ever planner! My favorite part is seeing the progress I make each week and month. Very fun to look back since the beginning of the year!

  32. My favorite use for a planner is keeping track of my “to do” lists. Yes, “lists”. Love’em; can’t live without’em. 🙂

  33. I like to use a planner to keep me organized and to be able to look back and see all that I have accomplished in that year. I love your videos.

  34. I would love to own this planner because I love pink & planners. This one would be so awesome because it has so many wonderful sections. Maybe it would help me to get organised & to get things accomplished. Also, I need a place to keep track of orders & clubs.

  35. I use my planner for making my daily list of things to get done that day, what doesn’t get finished goes on top of the next days list. It helps me keep somewhat on track without getting off in a new direction.

  36. My favorite thing about using a planner is that it keeps all my stuff (daily events, things I need to remember, list, list and more list) all in one place And it eliminates the 800 pieces of paper I have all around me with various notes and reminders. Plus it’s pink! 💕.

  37. My favorite part of using a planner is to capture the memory full circle…the memory of creating that special quilt is as special as the quilt itself.

  38. I have to be honest here, my favorite part of using a planner is the planning! A planner forces me to slow down and really consider what is truly important to me. It makes me focus on things I would like to do, hope to do and must do. I tend to be somewhat scatter minded and jump from one thing to another so planning does make me at least slow down for a time. Planning is dreaming for the future, right?

  39. Using a planner helps me keep track of the step by step details of projects, allowing me to offset those little things without forgetting them entirely. Which frees my mind up to dream up more projects! Or sleep. I like sleeping, too.

  40. Love, love having a planner because I take it with me to doodle in, check up on what I need to get ready for, and my husband checks up on what’s happening to me!!! I hope to do the Home Town Charms quilt, but have a busy autumn in the works as well. Judy

  41. Hello, I love planners because they are a one stop shop for plan details. I don’t have to try to keep all the information in my head, on the refrigerator, on my phone etc. I can also paper clip letters and other reference stuff to keep it all together. Makes life so much easier.

  42. Well, call me crazy but I keep all my planners and like to look back on the things I was able to accomplish. Sometimes life feels so harried or busy and I find it satisfying – and a little surprising – how many things actually do get done!! Trying a new veggie to plant, notes on a great campsite or travel event (Quilt Shows!) those don’t fall to the wayside. Plus End-of-Year assessments and re-aligning goals, adding new things to ponder or dream about – carrying over some – all good bits for a fresh take on the New Year. I love planners!
