  1. Hi Pat! I’m going to be honest. In the past I haven’t used a planner. However! Now that I find myself at 61 years old and 3 years post a deep brain stroke I’ve found it necessary to start logging things into a notebook. A quilt planner would be lovely to win because fortunately I’m still able to quilt and participate in my guild’s projects. I feel very blessed to be able to do most of the things I love to do. God bless! Vanessa Mitchell

  2. My favorite part about using a planner is keeping me organized and at a glance letting me know what I need to get done. Once I write it down it makes me more accountable to accomplish that task. Also I like looking back and seeing what I did. This planner intrigues me.

  3. My favourite part about using a planner is it keeps me focused to complete projects. I tend to get multiple projects on the go be it sew alongs or just projects I love. Also I have recently started to cross stitch after being inspired by your videos and trying to do a small bit each day, helps me fit all my crafty projects in. Thank you for your daily videos. I truly look forward to them each day! 💕

  4. Planners are so much fun. It’s great to use cute stickers to draw attention to important items. My favorite part is to keep my projects organized & my tasks prioritized. Lori Holt’s planner looks beautiful.

  5. a planner helps me stay organized with my projects and keeps me on task. would love to try out Lori Holts beautiful planner.

  6. I loved using a planner when I was working, going to school, appts. Since I’ve retired, I would only use a planners for my hobbies!

  7. My favorite part of using a planner is to stay organized with all my to do projects, what I have accomplished, as well all my families appointments, medication refills, work related meetings and just anything I need to remember to do or an event I need to be at. I have a very large family, so I also make sure to put all birthdays & anniversaries I there too.

  8. I love using a planner because it keeps me working on one project instead of 20. I get more quilts finally finished. I have always been a “list person”.

  9. I like a planner that has space to keep fabric swatches, project photo, and details about the project like pattern name and who the quilt was made for.

  10. Their is sooo many great answers but I love everything pink and Lori Holt. a planner for me is to keep me on track and save all the great ideas and planning how my day is going to go.

  11. My favorite thing about using a planner is making sure I stick to the time I put aside to work on my projects even if I only schedule 30 minutes on a day

  12. Having a planner, you will know when you scheduled for any appointments. It will also help with any quilting appointments or whatever you scheduled. I personally never had
one, but I find lately I need one.

  13. My favorite part of a planner is planning and documenting the progress on my quilt projects and my health journey.

  14. Planner equals organized at a glance!
Lori’s planner is gorgeous and covers everything and more!
Thank you FQS and Lori and Pat for your generous offer!

  15. I really got into using a daily planner when I became a teacher. Having an objective for the day was a requirement, but I’ve continued with that idea after retirement. I note what things “need” to be done such as chores, appointments, meet ups, and of course goal to get sewn or quilted. I find it helpful because I don’t have to keep thinking, “What was I going to do today?” AND I love looking it over and seeing all that I’ve accomplished that day and what needs to be carried over to the next day. My favorite entry is “go to the quilt store, buy fabric, come home and dream about what it will become”.

  16. I’d be lost without my daily planner! If it isn’t written down, it doesn’t happen 🙂 I’d love to start keeping track of finished quilts too!

  17. A planner keeps me sane! Once I write things down, I can let them go out of my mind. Peace and joy comes easier.

  18. Love using a planner to keep track of my quilting life and my work life. Keeps me on track. Also, I list items I’ve ordered on line so I don’t lose track of them.

  19. I get overwhelmed at the beginning of the year when I list all the projects I want to make. I keep it open so I don’t try to add more projects, or I swap out projects that are no longer important. At the end of the year I look back at what I accomplish and wonder how I did it.

  20. My favorite part of a planner is the calendar pages. I am the crazy person who enters all the details in those little boxes!
Dates, times, doctor visits, workout schedule, what I’m going to sew and when it’s
going to happen. Love the organization a planner has to offer!!

  21. Mine are just full of ideas in the most beautiful books. They are memories and accountability all in one set of pages.

  22. My favorite part of using this planner is how I easily keep track on my projects and can easily stay on track of what projects get worked on.

  23. I am so into planners. I love setting goals for myself and trying to stay on track. Seeing when you actually achieve your goals feels so good. I am person that loves to plan ahead and always making list. Organization is my middle name. LOL

  24. My favorite part of using a planner is seeing my accomplishments and writing down future ideas/thoughts so I don’t forget them. I also love all the cute stickers you can add to your planner to give it personality!

  25. I like just writing things down….even if they’ve already happened and wasn’t on the list…i still write it down and cross it off. LOL!

  26. My favorite part of using a planner is seeing the progress and completion of my goals. Seeing the progress gives me motivation to keep going and finish.

  27. I love being able to look with a glance as to what is planned for my day. Oh, and checking them off as they get done!

  28. I love using planners! My favorite part is using different colored pencils and pens for lists, visits, events, projects and activities. I use them like journals and save them from year to year. It’s fun to look back and remind myself of all that happened.

  29. I’ve never used a planner for quilting before but I love to check off lists. I think this is just what I need to become more productive with my quilting and plan better for shopping.

  30. I like to use a planner more to keep track of what I’ve done – what I’ve made (start and finish), what tv series I’ve watched, audiobooks I’ve listened to, and household jobs accomplished. I enjoy sitting down with my planner and capturing all that’s happened in my life. I usually use file cards to make lists of things I need to do, then record from them in my planner what I did get done when. Have to have a planner though!

  31. My favorite part of using a planner is making a to list and crossing off each item as it gets done. I use this with my students and satisfaction of accomplishment is a wonderful thing.

  32. After reading all the comments, sounds like it has made a big difference for me. Sounds like something I would like to try.

  33. Using a planner helps keep tasks organized so I don’t have to depend on my memory to get things done at the right time.

  34. I use a planner to keep me organized and helps me know what I’m working on and what quilt projects I would like to do next, and the planner is also my favorite color and would look awesome in my sewing room. Thank you pat for having the giveaway.

  35. I’ve never used a planner but maybe it would help get me organized! I write my projects on a piece of notebook paper and tape it on the wall. I cross them off as I complete them.

  36. Since being ‘retired’ things just creep in unannounced and pretty soon time is gone. I think an organizer/planner would help keep me on track, and projects will be put on calendar to be done in a timely manner. I love using your project sheets for that purpose too, thank you! blessings

  37. My favorite part of using a planner is being able to keep track of what needs to get done on a daily basis. It is great when I can check an item off as being completed.

  38. My favorite part is that I might be motivated to get organized! I would like to be able to keep track of my goals and accomplishments in an orderly fashion. I need help for sure!

  39. I love this planner! Pink is a favorite color of mine and my sewing tote bag that I use to carry hand sewing projects with me is a pink floral and the planner would just be perfect to slip inside,

  40. I Don’t use a planner, but maybe I should start. Keeping track of fabric bought for certain projects is getting harder and harder!

  41. My favorite part is that I can check off each item as I finish it.
It makes me lo accomplished! Lol

  42. As a retired professional woman,I found then and now that a planner is a requirement of adulting.welcome to adulting, baby.
