Block Wednesday!

My theme this week is picking flowers, which might be the BEST part of being a gardener right? Go out to your own flower beds and pick a vase full of blooms! Divine! I have an old splatterware jug that belonged to Gregg's grandmother. I fill it each spring.
We also have the next set of small blocks, so fun! This is a PERFECT time to use up smaller pieces to make a scrappy block. Keep reading to see my tips and the section together, then the Download for my pattern this week is in PINK

TIPS FOR DIE CUTTING
- Always move your dies around so that you don't keep cutting on the same section.
- I've found that when I angle the die on the shim it does a few things. First it more evenly distributes the die across the roller that is pressing to cut the fabric. Which means it won't be as loud.
- It also creates more even pressing areas on the shims so that you don't have a hard line. That keeps the shims from bending as much.
- I live with an engineer, he had to play with this to figure it out. it's what they do.. they can't help themselves. Do you know an engineer? Then you know what I mean!

Hi Pat, I am currently working with the colour raspberry pink and the pattern is your Crush pattern. The quilt will be for my little granddaughter
I need all seasons. Especially spring and summer. I have been working on wall hangings for my house for each season and then I make one for me my front door as well. Any ideas for seasons is great!
I need a Christmas quilt for our bed!
I need Sept-Nov Fall things for my schoolroom and home!
I do not have any summer quilty decor. I think that would be what I need to add to my home.
Fall and Winter quilts! π
Spring, spring, spring, new life, vibrant colour and the promise of things to come.
I would live an Americana quilt for the summer. Thanks for all the free patterns that you design and share!
I love fall! I would like to make a queen size quilt for our master bedroom. The colors of fall (reds, orange, yellows, browns) are gorgeous and there’s something romantic about fall. Maybe it’s the obvious change in seasons and then the excitement knowing the holidays are just around the corner.
Would love to make a summer quilt! Teresa
I need a very slimple summer quilt for a beginner, please. Simply simple.
I love to quilt in the fall, but I love your tulip pattern as well. Spring and Fall weather not to hot and not to cold – just right
I think I need a spring quilt with your lovely tulip block! ππ
Spring Quilts &/ Table runners please. I love when all the flowers bloom especially daffodils and tulips. Thanks for all your wonderful posts
Winter! βοΈβοΈβοΈ
I need spring and fall designs. I have watermelon themed wall hangings and runners for summer, along with patriotic patterns, and I have Christmas and snowman patterns for winter and a couple of St. Patrick’s Day things, but I don’t have many spring or autumn ideas.
I need three wall hangings made this year. We moved and I have more wall space which I want to fill up with quilty things. <3
I need a new spring quilt.
I am looking forward to making more quilts and homw decor items for Spring
I need a spring wall hanging. Love the tulips.
I really need to have a couple of light quits for Spring. So I would really like to work on the beautiful Tulip π· Pattern in your new book. I think that pattern is beautiful! I am working on one now for Summer late nights, or early fall. But I have so many I need to make, the ones for me, are mostly on the back burner. Spring is my favorite with all the beautiful spring greens! But, I would like to know, what you would do different in the kind of batting, with a light weight pretty quilt for spring, going into summer. Times of the year are great like 4th of July & Valentines, but I like to focus on the general everyday use. Iβm covered up with Halloween… Just want beautiful indoor/outdoor quilts for home & patio.
I love holiday projects, but sometimes just β anytime projects are great too!
I want to do four mini quilts for the four seasons.
I really do need a new throw for the Spring. A couple of matching pillows would be great too.
I need summer quilts. Although I have made several quilts, I have given all but a couple away as gifts.π
