I am very new to quilting, I feel so fortunate to have found your tube channel about a year ago. I have learned so much from watching. I try watching daily but if I have to miss a show I catch up the next day. I have also picked up a few of your books. Thank you so much for teaching us all.

I watch the video all the time quick question for the cornier block …not sure if I miss it what size do you cut it?
My oh my…I for one love watching your quilts and there is no way I can do all, or most, of the sew alongs. I have a full-time job, disabled hubby, another consulting job on the side and a small Esty shop. But I love learning from you and watching you create beautiful quilts and are so generous in sharing free patterns with us. And I love seeing all the different fabric as you don’t stick to just a handful of designers. Sometimes I can only listen while I work, but I prop my phone up on my keyboard and listen. Sometimes it takes me a couple hours to get through it, depending on my day at work, but it is such a highlight in my day. There will always be people who have to say not so nice things, I don’t know why, but sadly that’s what a lot of people think social media is about. I have some blocks made of various sew alongs and hope one day to get back to them and make a quilt, or at least a table runner! Peace, love and blessings to you. Maureen from So. California 🙂
Hi Pat. I live in Australia and have followed you for a few years now. I started watching the youtube shows during the pandemic. There is only so much I can discuss about quilts with my darling Hubby lol, so it was nice to feel I could chat with another quilter while we were all locked down. I have done many of your sew alongs, starting with the camping one and the space one. Presently I am flogging away at UFOs but have managed to tame Mount Scrapmore using your scrap quilt ideas and still enjoy watching your daily video for inspiration and your wonderful company.
Pat, I watch you every morning while drinking my coffee. I learn a lot from you even though I have been quilting for 40+ years. Just love to see your smiling face in the mornings!

Hi Pat ~ I used to watch your videos back when the pandemic first started and you would do one a day but some days there just isn’t enough time in the day to watch everything I’d like. Your videos are always chock full of great information but sometimes they can be a bit lengthy and hard to fit into a busy schedule.
I do enjoy the variety though when I do get a few minute to watch.

I first found you on Pinterest when I saved a picture of your Oh My Stars quilt. I followed the link and signed up for your emails. For about a year I only read your emails, then when we got a Roku for our TV, I started watching your YouTube channel and haven’t stopped. I think that was early 2020. I wanted to do the Out West SAL, but my sewing room was in the middle of a remodel at the time. In 2021 I started Out West and Home Is at the same time. Now I’m working on Sweet Dreams in 2 colorways (one for each sister) also Secret Lives. Thank you so much for your videos. I feel like you are best friend every morning as we have coffee together. Still planning on making an Oh My Stars, LOL

I listen to all your video. More times than not, after watching for several episodes, I find myself wanting to do the sew along too. I feel like you are my friend as we visit every day! LOL. I enjoy your videos, they are happy, full of wisdom and funny jokes. Your laugh just brightens my mornings. I watch every day that I’m home. If I miss a day, I go back and catch it. Not only do I pick up great tips, I enjoy the smile I see every morning. I’m working on Sweet Dreams, and am a bit behind, but following the “Secret Lives of Color” and enjoying the reading journey and the different blocks everyone is showing. While I have a busy quilting schedule, I try to find one project per year from the options you give us. I joined your group back in 2020 when I was put on furlough from work and have kept up. I went back to work about 6 weeks later and then retired in 2021.
I started watching in January 2022 and i watch everything and sometimes twice! Have made all your sew alongs and even went back to earlier shows and made many that i missed! You have inspired me with your ideas and i have made 3 barbie quilts and santa from swell! I enjoy everything and dont miss a single episode! Love, love, love you!
Pat, I love, LOVE, LOVE your daily videos! I watch every minute of every video. It’s truly like having a conversation with another quilter and friend! I especially enjoy when you show us your thoughts about color placement and strategies for making blocks better. I have learned so much from you, especially with the daily videos during the pandemic! A year ago, I couldn’t make a star block. Now, I have kept up with every block and border in the Sweet Dreams SAL. You have SEW many sew along choices, plus wonderful information for quilters. Your tabletopper book just arrived in my mailbox. Oh, my! SEW many wonderful ideas. Can’t wait for the sew along and videos that go with this book. Pat, I enjoy watching you on you-tube every night. I have been watching for a couple years, I think. Very informative, love watching everything you talk about.
As Spring & various scheduled events have taken my time I haven’t been able to be a daily watcher & I miss doing so. When the hubby is getting off the net he’ll ask “do you want your video?” I’ll be making the chocolate Rice Krispie treats for Mother’s Day for our church’s bus kids. I shape the squares into nests & put 3 small jelly beans in the center.
Even though I am busy with my own projects and unable to do sew-alongs right now. I really enjoy your daily videos. Sometimes I miss a few, but I do go back and watch those as you really do share a lot of information on each video. Your laughter as you present also helps brighten the still snowy days of Northern Minnesota.
