We loved ice-cream sandwiches. A slice (thick, of course) between two pink wafer biscuits. So yumm.
My favorite dessert bar would have to be an ice cream bar! Hee, hee! If I have to choose a cookie bar, I’d say dark chocolate brownies with nuts in them. Thanks for all your creative ideas, Pat!
Our favorite desserts bar has got to be one I learned how to bake ages ago. Most in the South would know it as “Butter Cake”, but since our Aunt Janice taught me how to make it we call it Kentucky Chess Cake! Super simple, easy to always have the ingredients on hand….think a blonde brownie square with a gooey center, or a square with a crusty edge. Seems everyone has a favorite part. Oh, yum!
