***Summer Soiree… Mystery Sew Along Details***
This sew along theme is inspired a ‘Summer Soiree’.

“The definition of a soirée is a gathering or get-together, especially a posh or elegant one. A soiree is an elegant and intimate affair. It is an evening party held in a private house. While ambient music plays, guests engage in a variety of private conversation.”
Doesn’t that sounds like fun for a summer night? Each week our block will have a theme of something to do with an evening party!
** DETAILS **
- RUNS: July 7, 2021 to Sept 29, 2021
- Blocks: All 12″ – ONE PER WEEK, Make ONE block per week .. that is stated in the pattern directions 🥰
- SIZE: 58 /1/2″ x 75 1/2″
- Type of Blocks: EASY Pieced blocks
- IMPORTANT

- The frames around each block are scrappy using fabrics in the FQ Bundle
- The Background fabric –
- First cut your sashing pieces
- The rest can be used in blocks IN ADDITION to using the light fabrics in your FQ Bundle
- TIMING: Wednesday around 7:30am EST. Email notice goes out noon-ish in my time zone, EST. The email is NEVER when the block is published.

** FAQ **
- What is a Fat Quarter? A fat quarter is half of a 1/2 yard of fabric cut WIDE so it is 18″ x 20″
- Can I use fabric that is not a FQ? Sure! this is meant to use up what you have with a bit added.
- Can I use Stash (fabric I own) – Yes! Pull out a bundle of beautiful fabric
- Will I use all the fabric – Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!
- Can you show me the blocks in advance? No, it’s a mystery
- What are the Technique? – All Easy Pieced.
- NOTE: The Blocks do NOT LOOK like the topic of the week. This is not a pictorial quilt. I do a topic as it is way more fun than just plopping out a block. I love the memories and sometimes research that goes into the topic. That keeps my Sew alongs fun and unique.
***Fabric I’m using***
I’m using the Figs & Shirtings fat quarter bundle + background fabric from my friend Joanna. You will have some left over. I am so excited about using this fabric! I love that splash of black!
You do not have to use the same fabric as me. You can use any fabric you like
