I like several of Kate’s designs. Hot Cocoa is my favorite. Love the detail on the cups, the colors and as a hot chocolate and mocha lover, the cup contents look yummy. Thanks for opportunity to win some cute Sloan Zone & Kate Spain goodies.

Yes, Pat me too I really hope that I am making my comment in the correct place! Kate Spain’s kitchen towels were all so very beautiful and it was really hard to choose just one favorite towel. My favorite towel is going to be the Rhapsody Kitchen Towel
You inspire so many quilters and your sew-along are wonderful, I choose to do the sew-along and leave my UFO’s for another day. I may not have made good choice for fabrics, it is going to be a charity quilt and will be gifted. I will then make one with a fabric line which after looking at all the posts of the completed summer camp quilts always make my heart sing! Thanks for all you do!

I have signed up many, many times to receive your newsletter so that I’m notified when you have a new block posted, but, so far I have never received any of your newsletters, not even your Wednesday newsletter. You are the highlight of my day! Thanks for always having a smile and an encouraging word to share with us. I love your block today! Songs at camp were so much fun. I was a Camp Fire Girl and we had lots of fun songs to sing at overnight camp. Make New Friends is always so pretty sung as a round. We would sing at campfire at night. It was also something we did at meals too. I love this theme this summer. It has been so fun to see all of your blocks and to learn about your childhood. Thanks for sharing with us. How you are keeping up with everything I don’t know! I love my design boards! I hope your blue birdsong panel comes back in soon! Pat, my grands are visiting here in NC from Iowa for a few weeks. When I say I need to watch a video real quick they always yell “Pat Sloan”! Yesterday my 11 year old granddaughter said “Pat Sloan is the Justin Beiber of quilting”! I thought that was pretty funny that she knew how much you are loved and admired! I remember sitting in class watching the moon landing on TV. I remember that Girl Scout song! When you mentioned it the tune popped into my head. What is the address for your mail call?

Wow the Moon Landing that is a blast from the past. I remember it very well, I was 11. We stayed up very late to actually see it. My Grandparents didn’t have TV, so they were at our house to watch . I remember my Grandfather’s awe at the whole thing. He was 71 at the time. He marveled at the innovations of the 20th century. His memories from being a boy when his parents bought his eldest brother a Horse and Wagon for a Wedding present: he being the youngest was given a car. He wondered if my generation would get Rockets. Grandfather passed away the next year so this is a goo memory of him. Thanks for calling it up!
