I don’t use bags to store my projects. I use bins. Unable to afford the bags on fixed income. I have made small bags to store some my gadgets in….
Thinking of you. Take all the time you need. Remember to take care of yourself. I’m looking forward to the Autumn quilt along. Autumn is my favourite seasons. For me, fall is full of warmth and comfort. I always get depression during the cold, dark, shorter days of winter. Fall helps to build & store up energy & motivation to make it through the cold winter days. Relax and have strength; you are not alone.
I love all the different bags I get quilt shopping my fav is one I got for crimson tate
I love any kind of tote bag. I use them for everything. And all sizes and closures.
My favorite bag is a small one I made with multiple zippered compartments. I use it to take my EPP with me to work on while waiting at appointments.
I love making many styles of bags for many uses 💕 Right now I’m making see thru bags out of clear vinyl for shopping and to use at the ball stadiums I pray strength for you and recovery for your mom 🙏🏼🙏🏼
My all time favorite bag is one I made that came in one of the Fat Quarter Shop’s Sew Sampler Box. It holds a ton of stuff and I take it when ever I go on retreat!
My favorite is a patchwork of ladybug fabrics made by a good friend who has nurtured me along my quilting journey. I use it to carry supplies when I meet with quilting friends.
My favorite bag is a quilted tote I made with a very old butterick pattern I had. I used sunflower fabric to match the theme of my daughter’s wedding, used it that day and I use it all the time.
I love bags of all kinds. Interestingly enough I don’t use them much for quilt stuff. I use them for everything else in my life. LOL
Hello Pat! I love the Large Mesh bags the Pin Checked one was the last one I bought is my favorite so far. I have made many myself.I make the zippered box pouch for my granddaughters. They love them and always want more.
I have lots of bags, because my way of organizing is to divide and subdivide. 😸I have two favorite kinds, the first being my homemade ones—I am so happy I used my precious “saved” fabric for them. The other bags are the super sturdy little zipper bags that Delta used to give to its international travelers. When my partner flew to Ireland frequently he brought these home forme and I love them.
I love all kinds of bags. I seem to pick them up when we are traveling, I make project bags, and I do have one mesh bag from the FQS. Prayers for your Mom, Greg and of course you as well.
My favorite bag is a fabric bag made by African woman to help them make money for themselves. I bought it several years ago in Florida at a craft bazaar. I use it all the time when we travel. Thanks for the giveaway. It’s definitely in my sewing room colors.
Pat, it is so good to have you back. I really enjoy your videos and have learned so much from watching them. I love to make bags. It is one of my favorite things to sew. My favorite bag is a purple floral one I made, and I have a matching purse.
The fat quarter shop mesh bags are my fav! I love them for keeping my projects together and keeping organized. Plus they are cute. 🥰
I like the zippered vinyl/plastic bags to hold my work in progress.
My favorite bag is the same as yours – the mesh bags from FQS!!!! I have my cross stitch and EPP projects stored in them. This is a very nice giveaway!!!! I love Kimberly’s colors!!!! I pray your mother is well soon. I’ve been where you are more than once – take time to care for her and yourself – you won’t regret it!!
Looking forward to fall sewing projects
My favorite bag is a large bag I make with my favorite fabric. I also like the new Lori holt bag with handles.
I have lots of bags that I use for different things. I find myself going to a scout brand bag with short handles and a square bottom for errands and shopping. When I have a lot of stuff, it’s the LLBean boat bag.
I love the FatQuarter shop mess bags. they are amazing the amount that they can hold.
Pat Been where you are with both parents. prayers and blessing to you and family. you are loved and so
My favorite bag is not one I made but one I received from a good friend at my retirement party. Her fabric choices always amazes me-so effective and warm. Hang in there during this tough transition, Sloan Strong!!
I love my Tula Pink owl project bag. I can put a finished quilt in it to take to my guild meetings. Thanks Pat, thinking of you and your mom.
My favorite bags are those I make with friends or given to me by a friend. Thinking of you during this time of change.
My favourite bags are my project bags that I make with clear glitter vinyl front and feature a quilt block. So handy for my small WIPs. Love your videos
Shopping /tote bags to give away to friends and family.
God Bless you and your family
I love the bag that was handmade for me at an embroidery retreat. Reminder of a fun road trip with a dear friend. Even when it’s empty, it’s full, of fun memories! I’ve never tried a mesh bag but it sure is cute!
Enjoy even the toughest moments with your mom, Pat. This may be the richest part of your relationship, as I now look back on the same journey with both my mother in law & father in law. As difficult as this time is for you & your family, you’ll find it to be a blessing. Sending love & prayers to you all ~
I don’t use project bags! Typically, I use art containers that allow blocks/fabric to lie flat. My favorite bag is my purse, a Sakroots crossbody that is multi-colored and now getting worn to the point it needs to be replaced. I have never had a purse that I enjoy like this one! I’ve been through the season that you are going through now and I know that you will never regret the time you are investing in your family. The journey can be exhausting but in hindsight you will see how rewarding it is. Take care of yourself as in this season of life the caregivers often don’t take the time to recharge. You are a bright light to those of us who follow your website and social media. Take care!
My current favorite bag is a very large canvas bag my daughter brought me from a trip to Disneyland. I just used it for the very first time and didn’t realize how much it would hold. Plus it’s got Mickey Mouse on the two big sides and who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse?!
I don’t have any project bags other than some plastic zip ones that came with block of the month kits. I mostly just sort of keep things together for whatever I’m working on. I love all the mesh bags you have been getting and showing us. I do have a couple sizes of vinyl gift bags large enough to take a layered quilt with me to quilt on when I go out of town. I have a portable hand quilt frame to use, or sometimes I take my sewing machine and machine quilt a throw. Take care of yourself while you are taking care of your mom.
I love tote bags…have several of them, they are so handy. Currently making a quilted one, can’t wait to finish it so I can use it!! Thanks for all your videos, enjoy them.
My favorite bags are little mini open totes in cute patterns. Not too big, but just big enough for me to stash coordinating fabrics within sight for a future quilt.
I love project bags that have the clear vinyl on the front. It makes it much easier to find my projects
Well my favorite bag! I love them all!
I love bags — from quilt camps to the clear zippered style. I think the mesh bags with zippers are great for quilt and craft projects — they keep everything inside, you can see what they are, and they breathe.
I have not found a bag I do not like! I hope to finally take the plunge and actually make a quilted bag.
I have the supplies.
I love the mesh bags. I have them in on several colors for quilting projects and cross stitch.
I hope all goes well with and for your Mom. We miss you.
my favorite bags are the mesh bags but lately i have been using the little plastic boxes for my stitchery. i can keep everything in it to go and they don’t get squashed
My favorite bags are the mesh or see through ones that you can see the project. I hope you and your Mom are enjoying your time together. Spending time with family is very special. Thank you for allowing us to spend time with you. I enjoy every video you produce. Hugs to you and your family.
I have a bag that was made from a jelly roll. So colorful and big.
my favorite bag is a Lori Holt scrap bag, i carry my yarn in it when I have to go riding
.
My favorite bag is the Myrna crossbody bag pattern by Sallie Tomato. Two zipper pockets!!
My favorite bags are the zippy mesh ones. I have a few that I have purchased, and a few that I have made. I love how things fit nicely inside and the zippers keep stuff from falling out.
Thinking of you and your family will keep you all in my prayers.I love all kinds of bags especially the ones that I have sew stuff in.
