I am grateful for the time I can spend with my 84 year old Mom. She loved to quilt but now Alzheimer’s has taken that away. She has always been my cheerleader to keep trying.

Hip surgery in June and general good health. Son and his two little girls recently needed to move in with us, and I can’t imagine how I would have kept up without the surgery. Thankful for a wonderful doctor and physical therapist.

I am grateful I have 3 wonderful children with their families that love me and make life good! I could use some cookies for guests that come to my house, besides me having a bite! 😁. I used to bake a lot but since my kids don’t live close to me, I don’t need to be filling my house with cookies that are hard to resist! LOL

I am most grateful for our health. My husband of almost 50 years just had a cancer scare- He had enlarged lymph nodes and the surgeon was talking lymphoma After the PET scan and surgery to biopsy the node it turned out to be nothing. No cancer!!!
It seemed the nodes swelled after his latest Covid vaccine. The oncologist happily told us not to come see him again. It was a awesome feeling

I am grateful for quilters and the quilting community. I was diagnosed 7 years ago with breast cancer and if it wasn’t for quilting I would be thinking about my situation all the time. Instead, I am creating beautiful quilts. At least my family and friends think they are beautiful. I’ve made quilts for people I don’t even know personally because they are friends of my family.I also love chocolate.Virginia
