I have always wanted to do a sampler sew along from one of my books. The Holiday book seems like the PERFECT book to use for it… a ‘Happy Everything’!

I will have us use blocks from most of the projects in the book and then I’ll add in a few other for fun!

**Fabric chat!**

This is a easy going project that I will be sewing right along with you! I’m going to fabric I own and as of today (see the video) I’m not sure what fabric I want to use.

I do highly recommend that you select fabrics that go together for the sashing and border. They will be really determine the color of the quilt.

Part of this sew along is going to be a lot of talk about color placement. It will be fun!

Some great options for how to pull fabric

Select your border fabric and work colors that go with it
Use 2 colors. Red/White Blue/White Gray/Yellow Pink/Green full loads of fabrics to work together
Pick a classic Red/White/Blue color scheme
Try a new combo like Gray/Yellow/Teal
If you have saved some unique fabric like Tula Pink, Kaffe Fassett, or Maybe a theme fabric like Butterflys or Alice in Wonderland, get those out to use them
