Amarillo Texas (Texas Panhandle) 39 degrees, Warmer than it has been,rain today high of 45. We are use to freezing temps in the winter, ice storms and blizzards. Summer runs 3 digets all summer long. Very Arid here, flat, treeless and and desert like. Wind all the time. We were part of the Great Dust Bowl.
It is warmer than usual in Alaska, above freezing and lots of rain. The cross-country ski teams are training indoors and meets are canceled for lack of snow.
My grandmother had floor tile on her kitchen ceiling! I remember my mother helping her clean by washing the ceiling with the floor mop.
It’s been cold here in Maine but without the snow that others are getting. I feel bad for the folks that are not use to it or don’t have the means to deal with the ice and snow.

Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia in the teens. So glad not to be in single digits. We are finally going to make it above freezing and see the sun !
St Louis ,Mo 3 with wind chill feels like -14. Babysitting kids at school to cold to go shopping.
Artic blast SAn Antonio TX. 18 last night and snow the day before. Our hones are not equipped to handle this weather.
