My 2025 phrase is “the year of scraps” so I am not entering any QAL if I have to buy fabrics. But if I win, it doesn’t count, right? Haha I would love to make the Flower Shop.
I love the flower shop quilt. I would like to make the flower shop quilt this year.
My friend Janene can’t quilt any more, so she sold me her ‘stash’ for a super good price. I had to make 2 trips to her house to get it all! My tackle it today was to continue sorting and organizing…
I have so many fond memories of both of my grandmothers my Nana and my Grandma that I am looking forward to working on Grandmothers Kitchen The Flower Shop quilt I will do in memory of my longtime friend of 48 years who taught me so much about gardening,
The Flower Shop Quilt looks fun to make & could be used as a wall backdrop for a children’s activity room—How original!!
2024 was wonderful because I achieved all of my New Year’s resolutions!

My block in browns, representing chocolate cake with a red center square representing red jello. A dessert at my grandmas. At times find myself craving that tasteful dessert. Therefore my block!

Due to a resolution to use up my stash, I have been talking myself out of doing this QAL. This block and so many beautiful week 1 blocks are quickly encouraging me to find reasons for getting a FQ bundle so the blocks look good together. I so enjoy your videos and the FB group. Always learn something new.
Really like this block. Could fill a whole quilt with this block in different colorways or themes.
