I always lived on the California Coast. I visited snow, and it was fun. I actually got pregnant after a day playing in the snow. It was a girl!
Hi Pat. I live in Alabama at the foot of Look Out Mountain. . The southern end of the Cumberland Gap. On Top of the mountain we have Noccaloola Falls and a park and pioneer village. This year there is more than 1,000,000 lights. there are all kinds of things for the young and old to do. you can ride the train and view everything from it. Santa and his reindeers and on hand for petting and picture taking. there’s hot chocolate and cookie decorating for all. what a wonderful way for a family to spend an evening.
Another simple and pretty block. Finishing mine tonight. Looking forward to the last block and seeing the quilt tops and finished quilts in December.
Skating, decorated village, decorated trees, hay rides. Lots and lots of people. How about hot chocolate and hot Pennsylvania dutch style pretzels or roasted chestnuts.
We have Winterlude with ice sculptures, snow sculptures, hot chocolate and beaver tails, and of course skating on the world’s longest skating rink – the Rideau canal in Ottawa.
