Love that, Diane! Watching the Macy’s Parade is such a nostalgic tradition—and waiting for Santa makes it feel so magical! 🎅 I recently shared some fun Thanksgiving traditions on my blog too if you’re interested: [xbloxkblast.com](https://xbloxkblast.com). Happy holidays to you and yours!
My family gets together for a big meal and we all bring dishes to share. We usually watch the football games too.
The cookies sound delious!
A tradition in my family is to always make my mama’s turkey dressing. It’s not the traditional stuffing, it’s entirely different but everyone loves it!
Please add me to the list of free cookies. No chocolate. I love Iced Cookies. Thanks
While the turkey is cooking, we all make our rolls from scratch. After the dough rises people can choose how they’d like to transform their dough sections to rolls. Never had store bought rolls. All ages are included, and it’s so wonderful to see the kids now carry on the tradition with their own families.
Our tradition is just everyone taking a day to be together.
Our tradition is doing a “Friendsgiving” with lifelong friends that have become our family by choice. Bringing homemade cranberry sauce is always one of my contributions to the feast.
we all meet up at our parents house and eat and just enjoy each other!!
One of our family traditions is to make my mother’s homemade sage chicken and dressing. It is fantastic, and just getting a whiff of it brings back so many memories! Looking forward to tasting those Leckerlee cookies!
Getting together with family, reminiscing about the past, listening to the same funny stories again but slightly embellished, and totally forgetting that the timer went off!
Our Thanksgiving tradition is to go around the table and all express what they are thankful for.
We love cookies! And the tins are beautiful.
We do Thanksgiving with in-laws on Thursday the have a 2nd non-traditional gathering on Satuday. This is with my sisters and our families. We usually have a huest or two. One year we had BBQ, another, hamburgers, another soup, etc. This year it will be breakfast/brunch. We eat, watch grandchildren play, we constantly bump into each other in the kitchen and have a blast. It is informal and fun. It is our only gathering for the year when everyone tries to be present. Our parents are deceased. My youngest sister opened her house for this when our Mom died. I am so Thankful that she has does this.
Our Thanksgiving traditions are Turkey dinner, Macys parade, Dog show, and afternoon napping!
Pat, our family used to meet at my grandmother’s house! My grandparents are no longer here, but we try to meet with my immediate family whenever we can.. I do remember my aunts deviled eggs and they were delicious but she’s no longer with us. Happy Thanksgiving.❤️🍁
Thanksgiving is family getting together and having lots of pie. We would ask if Dad wanted pumpkin, apple or mincemeat. He just answered “Yes!” So he got a little of each. Sometimes my birthday falls on Thanksgiving and that’s always fun. The cookies remind me of Moravian Christmas cookies, also a spicy ginger cookie. They are hard for me to find, so I would love to win some

Our Thanksgiving tradition is having dinner on the Sunday before Thanksgiving at my 96 year old Mom’s house ❤️
I ordered some of these cookies to try. I got the variety pack. My favorite was the chocolate covered cookies. 😋
The cookies look delicious, especially the ones with chocolate. I would love to win some. Our Thanksgiving tradition is to have the whole family together for the traditional turkey dinner (homemade mac and cheese for the vegans). Before we eat, we go around the table and everyone says what they are thankful for. We save pie for later and watch our first Christmas movie of the season – Elf.
Our Thanksgiving tradition is watching football for the men and watching a Hallmark or Lifetime movie for the ladies!
Hi Pat,
I entered the Gratitude and Grace Tour at FQS…and I won a Gratitude and Grace layer cake and a $50 gift certificate!
Thank YOU so much!!!
Ingrid
Traditions are turkey, enough for leftovers!
A dessert called Pumpkin Crunch. A type of dump cake with lots of spice, butter and pecans!
We ordered the Leckerlee cookies last year after you raved about them! Sooo good!!
It’s one of two holidays we enjoy spending with my siblings side of the family. Lots of lovely food and enjoyable conversations. ❤️
I’d love a tin for my SIL, whose Grandma is German and has dementia. I live in the U.K., so don’t do thanksgiving and have no traditions to share.
Thanksgiving : Family getting together and telling stories around the table. Good times and lots of laughter! Then we all sat around moaning and groaning that we had eaten too much! 😁 Leftovers rhe next day were always something to enjoy.
